Literature Text

And above the horizon it shone – red, the sun,
Angry.  With it’s ladies-in-waiting fluttering delicately around,
Bathed in the heat and glory of their Lady,
Bringing this or that which she might need,
Call their names but they do not answer,
Calming their Love and coaxing Her from a rage,
Drawing the liquid covers about her Highness,
Do not dream of fears and monsters,
Easing into the sleep and silence of night,
Ending a day of heat and toil,
Falling easily and quickly to some unknown paradise,
Far away in the lands of happiness,
Gentle tempers and tame creatures,
Grandiose views and hidden masterpieces,
Hoping to stay anonymous in a life apart.
Yet another poem for you to read... I'm not sure if it's exactly clear what the poem is all about when you read it, so please tell me... I know what it means, but I don't know if it's giving the right impression...
